Welcome to
Millard South's

Online Counseling Center!

We hope students and parents will find this site helpful in accessing the latest in college and career information. Of course, all students are encouraged to visit their counselor for personalized college and career counseling as well as for social/emotional counseling as needed. This site was created to augment the counseling students can obtain at Millard South.

The right side of the main page is focused on post-secondary planning. The College Planning Resources provides links to help students begin and expand their college planning process. The College Planning Newsletter provides students and parents access to the most current college and scholarship planning information. The College and Career Guide has been created for year by Millard Counselors to provide college and career planning tips to parents and students. Admission Testing Info will give you links to sign up for, as well as prepare for the various college admissions tests. The ACT Question of the Day is a great resource for students to continue their daily preparations for the ACT. Scholarships and Financial Aid contains links to currently available scholarships as well as details on applying for Financial Aid. The School Profile is helpful for students when completing applications as they may need to answer questions such as how many total students attend Millard South, how many AP and Honors classes are offered and much more.

The left side offers the Junior Guidance News which includes information that pertains to college bound juniors and is published each quarter. The Parent Newsletter is sent out monthly. The Career Planning Resources page offers excellent information for students to start and continue exploring career options. The Family Resources page offer offers information on services and programs that families might need to overcome obstacles in their lives. Next is a link to Study Skills resources. A link to Naviance is also on the page so students can access this great college planning tool. Finally is a link to the main MSHS Website.

There is an enormous amount of college and career information on the web and hopefully our site will save students and parents some time in finding good information. We welcome your suggestions regarding any good links that are not included on this site.

For more information please stop by the counseling office and see your counselor. You can email your counselor from the "MSHS Counseling Staff" link.
