Companionship

G etting together, helping themselves
and others, and having a good time
are parts of PEER and Friends Inc. In
each group the reasons for meeting were
different.
Friends Inc. met to do various projects
for the needy. They gave parties for children
in hospitals during the holiday seasons. They
also gave one Sunday up to sell honey on
Honey Sunday.
The PEER group met to discuss problems
and learn how to become better listeners.
They would set personal goals and simulate
problems to discover their reactions and
some possible solutions.
Denny Owens, sponsor of Friends Inc .,
said that these groups were trying to point
out the good things instead of the bad in
each person.

Visiting children as Santa is a job for senior Cleo Nick.
Senior Alan Trembly and junior Mary Armatis help with
the kids.
