                                                                                eginning signs of the end of  the
                                                                                year became more  noticeable as
                                                                                students  rushed  to  get  points
                                                                          before grading,  classes dragged on  and
                                                                          on,  and  that  half  hour  lunch  break
                                                                          became a  study hall.
                                                                              But  for  each  student, the  school
                                                                          year meant something different. Some
                                                                          tried to  finalize  term papers,  study for
                                                                          tests  and  give  their  best  into  the
                                                                          academic side of  school.  Others were
                                                                          more occupied with the social aspect of
                                                                          it:  hitting  all  the  graduation parties,
                                                                          getting  a  date  for  the  prom  and
                                                                          collecting friends' senior pictures.
                                                                              Goals  that were set in  August  by
                                                                          clubs  and other school  activities were
                                                                          met and things were getting wrapped up
                                                                          and  ready  for  next  year.  All   the
                                                                          dedication  that  was  put  into  their
                                                                          activity_ gave them a  sense of belonging
                                                                          and sdiool involvement.
                                                                              This  year  had  a  lot  to  remember
                                                                          outside of  school also,  such as  the last
                                                                          episode of Mash.  Hawkeye, Klinger  and
                                                                          Hot  Lips  made  their  last  appearance
                                                                          together in  a  :2\/J  hour  special on  CBS
                                                                          after eleven years on  the air.
                                                                              Spirit  was  built  up  a  bit  more.  The
                                                                          World Herald took notice of the spirit at
                                                                          the  Millard  North  vs.  Millard  South
                                                                          basketball game  when  the MN  student
                                                                          body  came dressed Hawiian.
                                                                              With the first full  year of use in  the
                                                                          entire school  building,  traditions were
                                                                          set,  friends  were  made,  and  fond
                                                                          farewells  were exchanged.  So,  as  this
                                                                          book  closes, with  the promise of  more
                                                                          coverage in  the  first  fall  supplement,
                                                                          don't forget to Take a Second look back.
