ood morning everyone. It 's another
rainy day in the metropolitan area,
and the high today should reach
            around 53 degrees.
For many students, the sound of an
alarm wakes them up bright and early five
days a week. Other than open campus,
there were no exceptions to the rule,
school started at eight o'clock sharp.
In a random poll taken around school,
it was found that most girls got up in the
morning between 6:00 and 6:15 and most of
the guys got up around 7:00. This proves
the fact that girls take longer than guys
            to get ready.
Some of the morning tasks that
becamE:. routine for girls were: taking a
shower, blow drying their hair, curling
their hair, putting on makeup, ge.l_ting
dressed and waiting for a ride to school.
For the guys, the morning started out
with a shower, followed by blow drying
their hair, getting dressed, eating break-
fast and waiting for a ride.
Finally, after they had waited ten
minutes, their ride would actually come
and they were off for another long day at
            school.
Still , after having taken a shower, and
riding to school, many students were still
not completely awakened until they were
sitting in their first class hearing the bell
            followed by a lecture.
