Hair They
Go Again
H air they are, the new hair styles for
Millard North in 1983-84. Hair you
see short on top, long on the bottom
for both girls and guys. The "wet-look" and
the blunt cut also became popular. You
could have it straight or permed. It seemed
not to matter this year.
Senior Angie Weber stated, "Hair
styles show a person's personality and their
mood. It's interesting to see what people do
with their hair. Some fashions are out of
hand, some wild, and some are really neat."
For most, your hair could be considered
the most important part of your appear-
ance.
Senior Todd Dickey said having his
hair longer made him look older, went
against society, and made him stand out.
Senior Kevin Olson said that he had his
hair styled so that it looked different but
not "necessarily freakish."
Not only does hair enhance or degrade
your looks, but it also makes you an
individual or just a face in the crowd.
Senior Michelle Van Horn said, "I
think hairstyles show and tell how people
want others to see them."
Whatever your lifestyle or personality,
from the looks of 1983-84 hair fashions, you
can obviously be or come across as any kind
of person you want to be.
