the last question on the test
answered before time was up, the
thunderous sound of running feet could
clearly be heard above anything else. Was
it a herd of wild Mustangs on the loose? . ..
No, it was only the Human Physiology class
preparing for their heart rate tests by
running stairs. This was only one of the
various activities that the science classes
took part in.
Also on the Human Phys. agenda was
the dissection of rats. Students had the
opportunity to slice open and examine the
internal organs of their very own rat.
Frogs and fish were the dissection
subjects of the Zoology class. Sophomore
Jennifer Johnson stated, "Fish stink, but
the insides are cool! " And as Sophomore
Tracy Arp said, "I found that determining
what the organs of a frog were was the most
difficult, but science was a lot of fun."
The human body can be very interesting as Human
physology students finds out.
Even thought the smell was awful, dissecting fish
in Zoology was an experience to remember for
Freshman Jim Nickels.
