Seniors Itch
To Get Out
H ave you ever stopped to wonder why
everyone can't wait to be a senior,
but as soon as you get there, you
can't wait to be out.
Well, at Millard North, the class of
1984 was no different in its thinking.
It started out fun, exciting, and great
to be a Senior. Major parties were
planned-togas, bon-fires, victory football
aftermaths, and even roller-skating. Yes,
things were rolling you could say.
Then first semester finals hit, and
everyone from freshmen to seniors were
climbing the walls to get out, but seniors
were climbing the highest.
To most seniors, as the year started
coming to a close, there became an itch that
wouldn't stop. Worse than the Spring Fever
Itch, Senioritis Itch was terrible. For most
Millard North Seniors, this was their fourth
year in the same, old building and, yes,
everyone was getting bored really bad.
Senior Michelle Van Horn commented,
"My Senior year is the year I've always
looked forward to because they say it's the
best, but not that I'm here, I can't wait to
get out!"
"Crashing" is what some Seniors like to do during
classes and any place else they could. Here Seniors
Brian Stokes, Brian Littler, and Jerry Kucinski find
their homework assignments overpowering.
