First Time

Dance Hit

t t It was a real blast. We had a lot
of fun!" said Freshman Rhonda
Coale . That was a typical reaction
of many freshmen who attended the first
time ever Freshman Dance held in early
September.
Even though there were more girls
than guys, most freshmen liked the
opportunity of getting together early in
the year so they could get to know each
other better.
The dance, held in the 9-10 cafeteria,
was made possible by the Boosters Club.
Providing the music were two disc
jockeys from "Dance Music ". They
played the top 40 music hits to make the
music both current and easy to dance to
- and dance they did with lights turned
down and music turned up. It became a
night to remember as friendships were
made and a sense Of belonging to high Freshman Carlton Conner tries to decide which girl Freshman Donovan Wattier shows-off his expert
school life evolved. to dance with next. moves while everyone else does their own " thing."
