Crowded hallways sometimes make it difficult for
students to get to their classes on time.
Finishing up some homework are seniors Michelle

Another
Monday?
ey, wait a minute this can 't be
H
Monday morning already!? But I
didn't finish my homework or have
a chance to iron my shirt and get my hair
washed!
This type of dilemma had faced many
students throughout the school year.
It wasn't unusual to see frantic
students skip their Monday breakfast and
run out of their house, doors slamming,
books flying, trying to get to school on
time.
With only three minutes left before
classes began, many students scrambled to
get ready for their first class . Getting books
in order, adding finishing touches on
homework papers, catching up on gossip,
and constantly muttering " I can 't believe
the weekend's already over." were just
some ways students got ready for the first
day of the week.
Getting through the day's classes was
always a trying job for both students and
faculty. Teachers had to face unprepared
students, sleepers, and those with sudden
illnesses - everything but bright and alert
students. Most students didn't wake up
until at least third hour, but instead walked
around in, what appeared to be, a "zombie
like state".
Students usually got through the day
because they knew that at 3:00 p.m. they
could go home and not have to face
another Monday for a whole week.
However there were those chosen few
who were awake, prepared, and eager to
face the day, but one had to search to see
them .
