when discussing Millard North girls
basketball. The JV team came to a
15-1 final record with their only loss
coming from Lincoln East. the Freshman
"A" and "B" squads both had winning
records of 11-3 and 8-2 respectively.
Being ranked first in their division
was no small task for the JV team. They
faced serious competition from Millard
South, Westside, and Central, but they
pulled through with a strong and
prepared offense and defense to back
them up.
The freshman team, who had lost
twice in the regular season to Millard
South, had to play the Indians in the finals
of the conference tournament. They
pulled off a last second win of 20-19 and
claimed the championship for the third
year in a row. Facing a tough Marian defense, Freshman Richelle
Plenty of talent will return next year Lovstad prepares for a shot.
to form an experienced group that are
willing to prove themselves again .
