iddler on the Roof" exceeded our
       F
           expectations", commented director
Terry Peterson, about the fall musical.
Over 1 00 students were involved in
the musical which was performed October
       18, 19, 20, and 21 . Two performances were
just for senior citizens and over 400 fifth
       graders.
Senior Keith Hale took the lead as
Tevye, a poor man with five daughters.
Tevye's voice to the audience was
       outstandingly strong with a believable
      Jewish accent.
The 87 member cast rehearsed about
four hours at night for two months in
preparation for their two and a half hour
       performance.
The action behind the scenes was
equally as important as the play itself. The
crew for the fall play worked weekdays
and weekends putting together the perfect
set. "To Life!" Tevye, Senior Keith Hale, and Sophomore Before going on stage, Freshman Jenny Peterson
The play would not have been Russ make a toast in the bar. digs to find stage make -up to look just right.
complete without the mus ic of the
orchestra, which was directed by Stan Ivy.
The musical appeared to be another
success with both the cast and audience .
