Show Breaks
Winter Blahs
he Variety Show was a first for the
T
Music Department to sponsor, but a
fourth for the school.
The Variety Show was not only a
fundraiser but it was also a great way to
break up the winter blahs . Sophomore Cari
Feelhaver stated that " this year's Variety
Show showed a lot of improvement over last
year's show because it ran a lot smoother."
Keeping the action going was made
possible through the efforts of Emcees Keith
Hale and Shane Swanson . They provided the
audience with jokes, skits, and other
humorous time fillers.
The Variety show provided some serious
and some not so serious acts, which included
singing, dancing, skits, bands, stand up comic
routines, and even an attempt at playing the
kazoo.
Three bands performed at the show. Of
the three bands Spectrum, performed for
their third year. According to Sophomore
Brenda Christensen the Variety Show was
"one of the most interesting shows I've seen.
Spectrum was great! They really knew how
to play."
Freshman Jay Gallentine explains the world of a kid at
the Variety Show.
Hidden talent is discovered as Sophomore John Variety Show 37
McDonald sings "Careless Whisper."
