                                       he most dreaded days besides
                                  T
Mondays were the days of parent/-
                                       teacher conferences. Sure, everyone
got a free day off, but was it worth it?
While everyone was sleeping in, catching
up on their soaps or having some friends
over, their parents were at the school
finding out what "wonderful" things their
" little darlings " had been up to. Parents
arrived at the school with hopeful and
expectant looks on their faces praying that
their kids had done better this year.
But, as one stood by the door and
watched the parents leave, they noticed
that the parents' facial expressions had
changed dramatically to those of anger,
disbelief and pure shock . They couldn't
believe junior was actually passing algebra
but flunking Metals I. What about those
                                   three down-slips supposedly brought
home, signed, and returned but never seen
                                   by Mom?
All in all , Parent/Teacher conferences
were a big help in helping students, Relaxing for a minute before the next parent arrives
80 teachers and parents understand one is business teacher Mary Thomas .
