Hard work
pays off
tudent Council sponsored everything
S
from dances to fundraisers. New to
the school was a semi-formal " Snow-
ball Dance " held December 21 .
Along with this dance their hard work
and efforts went into Spirit Week and the
Homecoming Dance. In addition, the
council also held fundraisers to help needy
families .
"A lot of people don't realize the
amount of work a council member puts into
our school. We work really hard to plan
successful events for the student body, as
well as things for those people out of
school, like the human needs program that
we helped with this year, " said Sophomore
leigh Officer.
According to President Amy Mickels,
the student council "works harder to get
more done. Not only was Homecoming a
complete success, we also helped poor ,
famil ies in our community and brought !
Computer Fun and the Snowball Dance
back to our school."
The members of the council attended
weekly meetings to plan events for the rest
of the year.
