"This year seemed different , because I already knew
the school and I could get around better," Tony Zito said about
being a sophomore.
In a survey of students taken in September, sopho-
mores said that they enjoyed the sports, clubs, athletics, and
extra-curricular activities the best. However, there were goods
and bads about that. "When you get older, the sports become
mor~ competitive; the older you get , the harder it gets," said
Sophomore David Schwenk who was on the football and
basketball teams.
In addition, one of the class challenges was not gettin g
a driver's license, but finding a parking place in the new "Sopho-
more Row". Sophomores used to have the row along !44th by
Quik Pic, and the lot between Quik Pic and Amoco . In stead,
they had to park farther away in the neighborhood east of
Amoco.
However, that didn' t diminish their school sprit.
During Spirit Week class mates decorated their hallway in blue
and put up their class saying of "Sexy Guys, Gorgeous Chicks,
We're the class of '96". Others painted their faces in blue and
wrote '"96 rules." As Dayna Coufal put it, "Our school spirit is
like 'Go team Go'!" e
