                       Amnesty International

                      Officers: Nikki Collier, president;
                  Amy Chiou, Vice-President.
                       Fundraisers: Sold beaded necklaces,
                  sold bagels  throughout the year.
                       Service projects: Wrote letters to other
                  countries asking for the release of political
                  prisoners of conscious (which are people who
                  were detained for speaking their minds or
                  standing up for their rights as human beings).
                  Wrote to  prisoners in Guatamala, India, Japan,
                  and many others.

                            Chess Club
                      Officers: Aaron Musfeldt, President;
                  Seth  Liddy, Vice President (Human Resources);
                  Aaron Scott,-Vice President (Community
                  Service) ; Adam Whitney, Vice President
                  (Treasury); Mike Mierzejewski , Dean of
                  Tactics.
                      Fundraisers: Collected membership dues
                  and had pizza practices.
                      Service projects: Visited Veterans  homes
                  and Retirement homes.
                      Social events: Practiced after school
                  almost every Monday of the year.

                       Fundraisers: Sold coupon books, frozen
                  pizza/pies, and candy.  Funds were used to
                  defray student expenses for attending confer-
                  ences.
                       Se!Vice Projects: Held a car wash for the
    ,,            Make-A-Wish  Foundation.
                       Social Events: Went to Worlds of Fun
                  with three other DECA chapters.
                       Conferences: Fifteen members partici-
                  pated in the DECA Central Region Leadership
                  Conference in Minneapolis.
