T k thought of being in high school
excited some and nauseated others. For
many, the experiences they had at MN
were not what they expected them to be.
"It wasn't really what 1 expected; things
weren't as confusing as I had imagj.nea
and my classes were much easier,"1.resh-
man Jeremy Hite said.
Freshman year was the chance for stu-
dents to become more familiar with the
school and to mature as the year passed.
Many felt this year was their passage
from here to there.
"I feel like I have really learned a lot this
year. I think that I am a more mature
person than I was in August," freshman
Jonathan Sours said.
As freshman year came to a close, many
students had some advice to offer those
who would be part of the next freshman
class.
"Work really hard, do your best, and try
not to let the upperclassmen give you
too much trouble;" Sours said.
"Make sure you kee2 up with your
classes and work hard. Don't let yourself
become overwhelmed by school: if you
try to do your best, you will be a
successfullperson," freshman Amber
Thoman said.
