Behind the academics, clubs, and
sports, was the staff that was responsible
tor getting students from here to there.
'1 like my job because I like working
with the students, and I like being
around athletics so I can coach through
teaching," science teacher Gerald
Johnette said.
T·he efforts the staff made in order
to get students where they needed to be
had its benefits and rewards.
"I enjoy seeing the positive
growth that my students make over the
four years they are here. It is also re-
warding when I have past students come
back and tell me about their success,"
math teacher Jeff Pulverenti said.
The reasons behind the decision
to go into teaching added to the positive
and rewarding learning environment.
"I really wanted to make a positive
difference in the lives of young people,"

Making a positive difference on students
futures through their hard work and
persistence, stat1. members did what they
needed to, to get students from here to
there.
"Education is the process by which
we acquire knowled~ge and skills which is
achieved through effective teaching," for-
eign language teacher Leon May said.
