Bad habits and pet peeves were an everyday
experience that students had to handle. For some
students a nervous or stressful situation gave way to
a bad habit that could be nearly impossible to break.
"Sometimes when I get nervous, I start to bite
my nails. It's not something that I realize I'm doing. I
just can't help it," senior Crystal Smith said.
Some bad habits were nervous habits, while
others were just learned habits.
"My worst habit would have to be complain-
ing about anything. I think I just need to accept things
the way they are and not worry about things as much,"
sophomore Ryan Whitney said.
While everyone had some bad habits, some
people's bad habits proved to be another's pet peeve.
"Something that can really get·on my nerves
is when other people try to pass their beliefs upon me.
For example, if you're a vegetarian, that's cool, but I
don't want a lecture whenever I eat a steak. I think
steak tastes pretty good," freshman Josh Williamson
said.
