DIAMOND IN
THE ROUGH
High school was a time of
learning and new experiences,
which helped students find out
special qualities they had that
made them one of a kind, a real
diamond In the rough.
Since-MN was a fairly large
school, students realized tht!t there
were many different ways to be·
come part of a crowd and still
keep their own identity.
"I've learned that there is a
clique for everyone. There are so
many people here that it is easy to
fit in," freshman Tamara
Sebneiderman said.
Senior dim Z)'lllola didn't feel
that he had to live up to any
expectations to make friends
"Being yourself is what makes
people like you," Zymola said.
Others said that what hap·
pened was up to the individual.
According to junior Dan
Weidner, "if you don't believe in
yourself, no one else will."
Confidence and individuality
were qualities that students said
helped make them diamonds In
the rough.
