Literary Magazine's
[fundraisers were running conces·
sions at basketball, selling scented
~andles,and gift wrapping at Bor-
~ers. The money earned was used
~or publishing the magazine. The
1997 magazine issue was given an
"Excellent" rating by National Coun-
cil ofTeachers of English. This year
the Literary Club held a contest and
awarded prizes for poetry, fiction,
and artwork.
