                                             Around  the  holidays the  FCCLA  adopted eleven  children  from
                                        [
                                             the  Nebraska Children's Home. It  was a  fund  raising  event  where
                                             the y raised  $300. The  money  was  put towards  the  children's
                                             Christmas w ish  lists  and then  was delivered. They  also
                                             particpated in  Penn y Wars  where  the  mone y was donated to the
                                             Hope Center and brought in  a Destiny's  Child concert  as  a
                                             reward  for  the  student body.

                                                                   Advisor . Jenna  Jones
                                                                      Many members of this  club  were  active as  parking
                                                                      monitors.  They  had Officer Matson speak on  "ecstasy"
                                                                      to the  group, and had Officer John  Young  speak at the
                                                                      POPS  program on  personal  safety, especially  on  college
                                                                   [   campuses.  The y were also  instrumental  in  having  moti va-
                                                                      tional  speaker  John  Crudele  speak to the  entire student
                                                                      body on  ma_king  good choices.
