lt took the work of dedicated staff from secretary to
custodian. to teacher to make the school operate successfully.
That meant everyone had to do his o~ her part.
lt also meant some changes l1ke revising final exams
schedule put extra pressure on teachers.
"The one day finals agitate me as a teacher. lt is not
conducive for studying and learning . l have had to change the
content of my lessons because my students have less time to
study because there are too many other f1nals," Latin teacher
Julia Kolander said.
However, some teachers felt that the students made it
all worth it.
"When a class 'clicks' it's fun to get up in the morning to go
to work. The students are so interesting and the parents are
great," English teacher Jean Koerten said.
"Th1s year, l feel like the students truly wanted to learn
and knew that l was there to teach them," Kolander sa 1d.
