Making the conversion from sophomore to junior year was
relatively easy for many juniors. More was expected out of
them in the aspect of school work t:Jecause of a new pol1cy put
into place by the school board at the end of last yeclr. The juniors
were not allowed to have modified open campus. This meant they
were to stay in the building from 8:00am to 3:05pm. Many had
mixed emotions about the new policy.
"It's inconvenient for juniors to be here all day. If we had
modified open campus, I'd probably use my off periods to go home -
and sleep," jUnior Sabrina Fay said.
Others found being a jun1or had many enjoyable points.
Getting a driver's license was a high point for many.
"Being able to drive home is much better. It's so much
more convenient not to have to wait for a ride to pic k you up
after school," junior Greg Naple said.
Whether 1t was being able to dnve home, or it was not
being able to leave early, most found their junior year enjoyable.
