Sophomore Deanna Beckwith knew the meaning
of reaching for a dream, and this year she was able to
grab it.
She wanted to be more than just a part of her
M ichelle Ribar
Amanda Ri edl youth group, Extreme. She wanted to be a singer in its
band, 156. As a sophomore, her dream was reached.
"I began singing in 156 because I love to sing, so I
pursued my dream to sing in a Christian band in my
youth group. Singing has helped me become confident
in myself and my voice. I also believe that this has
helped me meet new people and do things I really enjoy
doing," Beckwith said.
Beckwith didn't see herself quitting anytime soon,
