Gro u ps define s tudents
A variety of clubs and activities kept
several students active throughout
the school year. A chess master-
mind, competitive athlete, or a creative
writer-- each defining personality found a
place to belong.
Membership in any activity was more
than just a title. Competitions were frequent
for most, along with meetings and reaching
out beyond the school. Many times, events
and games were held to vary experiences,
it also helped students meet other people
with similar interests.
Some activities required tryouts, but
for the majority, a passion for the subject was
the only necessity. Group bonds were formed
between people who might not have ever
met. All grade levels were given a chance to
interact outside the normal classroom set-
ting.

resentations of any activity, but each had a
unique underlying story and meaning. The
