The theme Daring, Dazzlng, Defining was picked at Nebraska High School Press
Associ ation Summer Camp in Lincoln, NE by chiefs Amy Kirkendall and Cacy Barnard. It was
chosen because each of the words represent different aspects of the school. Daring is the
competitive outlook on sports, dazzling is the student life and clubs and activities, and
defining is the academic area. Lines and squares of various sizes and shades are used in the
designs throughout the book.
The front cover has the theme Daring, Dazzling, Defining in silver hot foil and is
embossed. The starburst on the right side is also embossed. Squares and lines are also
incorporated on the cover in the background.
The endsheets are in Silver 877 glossy paper. The graphic designs were created
by Mark Hampton. The page divider page numbers are in AWPC FreeTimeBold size 50 .
