R anging from the anxious freshmen,
to the sensible seniors, students had
certain ways of rising above, estab-
lishing themselves and making a statement.
In as many ways as they could think of, ev-
ery individual contributed to the dazzlirt~ stu-
dent body as a whole.
Large enrollment provided above av-
erage opportunities to make new friends and
see new faces. Despite the crowded halls and
masses at lunch, students flocked to smaller
groups with common interests. However,
through time, comfort was found in the
crowds, with the strangers evolving into spe-
cial acquaintances.
Faculty also contributed to the sense
of belonging, sharing their dazzlirt~ talents
to help students. With the staff's help, stu-
dents were encouraged to not only expand
friendships, but also to proudly become
their own persons.
Having opportunities well within reach ,
it was not likely for anyone to just get lost in
the crowd. Whether it involved furthering ex-

Prior to the Homecoming game, the fl ag is
can·ied onto the fi eld on horseback. Several pre-
game events, such as the parachuter and a
tail gate, were added to enhance th e festi vities.
