Presidential elections and War on Terrorism

When schoolwork and extracurricular
activities were finished , newspapers and
TV stations provided a chance for
students and staff to become aware and
stay updated with current events.
The War on Terrorism has affected
people not only on a nation level, but also
locally. Family members worried over their loved ones
stationed in Iraq or in other areas around the world training for
the war.
Upperclassmen who had recently turned 18 found it
important to research and listen to debates during the
presidential election. They were encouraged to take part in
the voting process and were assured that their vote really
would make a difference.
