                     Cell phones in  the cafeteria, Freshmen  Stampede, new school dances and
                     many new faces  made going back to school more exhilarating.


                                         Entering MN, students  met returning class mates  and  new privil eges . O n
                                       an ea rl y Wednesday  morning,  freshmen and Mustang Mentors were greeted
                                       with new faces.
                                         " Fres hmen Stampede was  helpful beca use  th ey showed me sec ret pas-
                                       sage ways  to my cl ass rooms. I actually felt like a part of the sc hool and  not
                                       like the weird freshman," freshman Sydney O'Daniel sa id.
                                         As  new students  and fres hmen explored the hall ways  of MN, se niors
                                       were eage r to have  open ca mpus. Th e freedom to finish homework, have
                                       an ea rl y departure or grab a quick bite to eat was  thrilling.
                                         "Th e power is unlimited. Taco  Bell  was  a lot better bein g a se ni or. M y off
                                       hours were spent gaming .. . I mea n studyin g," se ni or Zach Stull sa id.
                                         While se ni ors exclusive ly enj oyed off hours and open campus,  every
                                       student was  granted free  ce ll  phone use  in  both the cafeteri a and commons
                          th           areas.
