Sweat dripped off of foreheads, hearts beat rapidly, and muscles
u just got clenched as the final seconds of the MN vs. Papillion La Vista varsity voll
ball game ticked away. You could feel the intensity flowing from both sidE
of the court as both teams battled for the title of winner. The girls held no
served ing back, diving for every possible ball, keeping their focus on the highes
level in ord er to pull out the win .
"Papio was our toughest game, but it was also the most fun and
Volleyball girls bumped, set, and memorable. We competed in all five games; it was super intense the

The scene at the JV game versus Marian was similar
in the amount of intensity, which was practically rolling ott of
the player's shoulders; however their match had a different
outcome.
"We won the first set, then lost the second, but the
score was something high past 25, so we didn't give up on
that one easily. We ended up coming back and winning in the
third set. It was definitely our best game, and everyone was all
hyped up and excited," junior Jess Rands said.
