year, there were many new faces on the board.
Principals are
people too
B
eing a school leader sometimes carries
with it a certain stigma - that of being
hard to talk to, or that _of not being a
real person.
As this spread indicates the principals of
MN got around, and had as much fun as the
students.
Changes came in the fall when the Millard
School Board office moved into the South end
of this building.
In January Rudy Papenfuhs gave up his
position of Principal in charge of Pupil Services,
to become the Principal at Waterloo High
School.
Lee Galloway, who was Vice Principal in
charge of Instruction, took Papenfuh's job.
Social Studies teacher Keith Campbell assumed
Galloway's duties.
The Millard School Board added many new
members in this election year. Also added to
the board was student Walt Mertz.
Explaining the Social Studies program to parents. Keith
Campbell tells it like it is . In the second semester he
became assistant principal in charge of curriculum.
