onopoly was not one of the games
played by the Gaming Club but
more competitive and intellectual
ones were. Some of the games played this
year were Chess, Dungeons and Dragons,
Villains and Vigilantes and Traveller.
Sponsor Kim Vawter set up the games
in the library after school on Thursdays, but
some of these games took a lot of time to
set up and when the hour was over all the
work they put into the game needed to be
torn down. So if they wanted more time they
got together at a members house on a few
Saturdays and played all day.
Although this 30-40 member club did not
compete with other schools the purpose was
to get people together that enjoyed the same
intellectual games.
Now the Gaming CiUb is trying to
establish a library of games and already have
some Dungeons and Dragon reference books.
They are also trying to get some computer
games for the years ahead.
