tudy, study. study.lsn't that what study
hall is for? Some students didn't have
to study all the time.
Students were allowed to speak softly
during study hall if there was nothing to do.
But occasionally. when it got too loud, you
might have heard the teacher yell, "Hey. do
you want your detention tonight or tomorrow
night."
As for the seniors that did not have
study hall, they could have been seen walking
down hallways with their walkman radios.
However. some seniors left the building to
get a bite to eat either at Burger King.
McDonald's or Martin's Pastry.
But, the rest of the school had to bear
the toughness of study halls. However, study
halls gave some precious time to those people
who had to cram for a test later that day
or time to do homework which they
carelessly forgot to do the night before.
If most people had to think it over, study
halls really weren't that bad. It gave people
a chance to gossip with friends and get some
extra work done.
