M any students didn't have full days
scheduled with only their required
classes, so in addition to taking the
required classes, many students signed up for
various art courses.
Freshman Troy Love said, "I like art
class. Intro to 2-D Drawing is a good class.
It's relaxing, and gives me a break during the
day."
Not only were art classes good fillers, but
they were on the minds of many students as
a possible career. "I took 2-D and 3-D art and
also Intro, to Interior and Exterior Design
because I plan on pursuing an art education
career. Those classes gave me a good start on
my future plans," stated Penny Sherman,
freshman.
Whether they were painting, molding, or
designing, students found art classes to have
been very fulfilling and worthwhile.
Now it's just right! Junior Lori Ried puts the
finishing touches on a project during her 4th hour
art class.
Junior Ken Zarlingo uses water colors to create
a project for his art class.
Striving for the perfect shape, Junior Shari
Bromley keeps at the wheel, molding her pottery
during 2nd hour.
