A nd as they round the corner, it's
somewhat of a close race. They're
moving further down the track -
they're nearing the finish line . . . And the
winner is . .. MILLARD NORTH!!
We're number one not two not three F
not four - we're number ONE!!
In every aspe_st of this year at Millard I
North this statement has always been N
proved and seen. Whether it was sports, I
clubs, academics, the faculty, or separate s
individuals, MNHS was made of winners.
Some winners of the 1983-84 year was H
when the football team defeated the
number one ranked Northwest Huskies, the
girls Varsity basketball team made it to
state, wrestlers had an excellent season and
took third in their state competition. The
Spanish club was on it's way to Spain, the
faculty excelled in their performance in the
melodrama, and the Drill Team and Varsity
        Cheerleaders earned many awards and
honors during summer camps. Those are
just a few of the many accomplishments
made at Millard North that put us on the
        top.
So now not only is it the end of the
book, but also the end of the year. It's time
to say goodbye. Say goodbye to all the
Seniors leaving to go their separate ways.
Say goodbye to all the teachers, administra-
tors, and friends that are moving. It's a time
to make-up summer plans and a time to
realize that you'll be a Senior or Junior, etc.
Junior Dave Koski stated, "It'll be sad
when the year ends because I'm gonna miss
the Seniors and all, but it's going to be great
        being a Senior next year."
Well, the race is finally over and the
merits were won. Every Mustang was a
winner, and the year of 1983-1984 will not
easily be forgotten in the drive to be the
best during one's high school years. Millard
North was definitely "On the Right Track!"
