T he 1984 STAMPEDE, Volume 3, was Mike Bartenhagen
printed on 80# enamel finish paper
and consisted of 206 pages in the
spring delivery book. There were more pages Angela Connor
compiled in the fall supplement so the events Cindy Craig
after March 4 could be covered. 1st Semester
The cover was designed by Senior Lisa Chief Photographer .... Angie Cushman
Cardwell and Junior Sue Roads. It was Dennis Davenport
silkscreen~d on light green sturdite material.
Artwork was applied in #700 black and #800 Chief Photography ...... Shawn tell Delgado
white. Mike Jankowski
Division pages were printed in spot 2nd Semester
colors: # 306 flag blue, #404 Irish green. Chief Photographer .... Jennifer Johnson
The staff chose Century Italic for Phil Long
headlines and Century for both copy text and Kurt McGee
captions. Divider headlines were in Tiffany.
Headlines were printed in 36 pt. using caps Wes Nelson
and lower case with centered headlines. Julie Rosso
Body copy was done in 10 pt. and was Andy Shepherd
justified with paragraph indentions and Carol Workman
initial letters. Captions were done in 8 pt. Adviser .... ........ ................. Sheila Pedersen
with lead-in words being in boldface and were
without indention. Indents, page subjects in
the folio, and the index entries were also done
in 8 pt. Folio page n1m1bers were done in 10
pt.
A three-column layout was used through-
out the main book making each column 2 3/4"
wide.
Ads were bordered with inside borders
using 4 pt. rule lines. Type was determined
by advertisers and/or staff.
