To further Excellence in long-range education
planning for the Millard schools, the district has
sought the advice of Dr. Shirley D. McCune at a
introduction planning session. Here she talks with a

of being made. The administration called
for the help of Doctor Shirley D. McCune
to assist in planning the future of Millard
North students, Effects could be felt by
   this year's Sophomores and Freshmen.
       Freshman Lisa Lodge commented, "I
don't think that these changes will be too
tough to adapt to, because it is my first
in high school, and I'm not used to what
the requirements are for the upper-
classmen so I'll just move with the
   groove."
This was also the first year the
Mustang varsity sports made headlines in
the World Herald. Not only were clubs,
   administration, and students headed on
the right track, but athletic teams were
   pushing to the limit.
This year the Stampede focuses on
the progress made by Millard North. For
being only in its third year, the Mustangs
are obviously on the right track to
   excellence.
       Junior Lisa Basile stated, "We
   Mustangs have a great school . . . I
wouldn't want to be anywhere else!"
M•A•S•H Northwest is exactly what the Mustang
Football team did on October 7. Here Junior Wes
Nelson shows his school spirit by "Mashing" to the
  game.
New equipment started on the right track at Millard
North. Aide, Sandy Johnson works on a new memory
typewriter in the Prep C area.
Being a 1tudent aide is a practical way to obtain
  activity credits toward graduation. Sophomore
Jennifer Osterholm aids in Prep B.
