Audra Kreger carefully watches her mixture so it
                                                     doesn't run over.

                   The Joys

                       of Life

idn't you love walking down the
               D
                     9-10 hallway, because there was
                     always something to do. That
something to do was watching all the
people trying to figure out what was
cooking upstairs, from the smells that
seemed to have become a permanent
fixture in that area . It was something close
to figuring out what the " Cook 's Choice "
                was at lunch time.
But, that was not the only thing looked
forward to in Home Ec. There were the
millions of little egg children that suddenly
invaded the school, not to mention the
cries of anguish when the eggs were
crushed under malicious feet, along with
                 Adult Living grades.
There were other fun things to do,
along the lines of learning how not to
match plaid carpeting with polka dotted
wall paper in interior design class, and
learning how to stitch the seams of clothes
together rather than the seams of your
                  fingers in Sewing Class .
For future homemakers it was worth
                  the adventure.

shows Kim Kirschner to her foods class .
