singing in retirement homes,
department stores, at clubs, and
luncheons?
If you said the Swing Choir, Concert
Choir, Treble Choir, or Mixed Chorus, you
were correct.
Not only did these singing students
perform away from school, they also
presented two musicals, "Fiddler on the
Roof", and "Godspell", and performed in
eight concerts.
MN hosted the Nebraska Music Educa-
tors Clinic, Nov. 15-17. Over 600 students
were chosen to represent their schools
across the state in band, orchestra, and
choir. More than 400 students were qu~sts
in local residents' homes. The final concert,
held in the gym entertained over 2000
people.
The students making All-State were
Julie Eakins, Keith Hale, Richard Hoffman
<alt), Kris Howard, Kathy Kautz, Jane Napier
<alt.>, Brian Proskocil, Lora Schordock, Dacia
Silrum, Susan O'Rouke, Sean Swanson, Beth
Wingert, and Heather Yepma . Sean Swan-
son was the featured soloist, chosen from
a 450 member chorus .
Led by Cindy Pace, the singing groups
entertained thousands of people.
