have been a girlfriend, a boy-
friend, or just someone that was
trusted and loved.
According to Sophomore Colene
Schaaf it was " someone who understands
when you are sad or upset, and enjoys the
same things you do. They should care and
listen and trust you."
Many friends had been best friends for
years . Said Junior Laura Collier, "We've
been friends since junior high; I can't
imagine not having her to talk to or go
places with since we've been friends so
long."
"We go shopping, to movies, we have
a great time raising heck, " said Junior Linda
Trebilcock.
Best friends, however, weren't just for
fun times . " I can tell my best friend
anything and not worry about it being told
to the entire world," said Sophomore
Cathy Nich .
Best friends could be more than
" best" friends, too. " My best friend is my
boyfriend Mark; I can tell him anything, "
said Jun ior Yvette Riddle .
