o, just what did it mean to be a student?
S
Sometimes it had a lot to do with trying to
fit in everything that needed to be done.
Pressures from jobs, homework, friends, and dates
took up a lot of time.
BUt when there was a chance for a little free
time, most students grabbed it .
Dates, parties, movies, and the t>ccasional
cruise around town provided a little fun, while
school-related events also drew a crowd. Athletic
events, Homecoming, and drama productions
attracted many students on weekends, and pep
rallies and spirit week broke up the school day.
School pride was not just confined to the hours
between 8:00 and 3:00. It was a constant factor in
student life and a way to Paint the Town.
