Their Help
Makes School
Run Smoothly

hat would have happened if all the
janitors, cooks, secretaries and
aides had suddenly disappeared?
Food machines would not have been filled, pa-
pers not xeroxed, files would have remained
unfiled. The school would have been thrust
into a complete state of confusion.
As well as being extremely vital to the
complete structure of the administration, sup-
port staff members were also well appreciated
by teachers and students alike.
Freshman Beth Newir;gham said of the
various secretaries and aides, "They kept the
• school running smoothly, so they must have
been doing something right."
Likewise the janitors were also looked up
to. "They did a good job of keeping the
school clean," said Senior Jennifer Lake,
"which wasn't always an easy job".
Students were also grateful for the cooks.
Many students agreed that they even man-
aged to make school food taste good.
Along with being appreciated for their
efforts, support staff members were found to
be friendly people. Said Senior Susanne
Caine, "I liked them a lot." tN
