inishing the season with a record of 9-0,
"the girls golf team had a year that was
a rebuilding of three people," said Coach
Paul Sanders.
The good season included "hard matches
against Duschene, and easy matches against
Omaha North and Omaha South. Westside
was a close match becau~e the golf team
played at Westside's home course. Being
consistent at all matches enabled us to win,"
said Senior Lori Kilstrom. "For the second
year in a row, they went undefeated in duals
due to good leadership," said Sanders.
Two very good leaders were Seniors Kelli
Smith and Lori Kilstrom. Each had contribut-
ed their talent to the team for four years each.

ranked in the top ten overall. "It was a real
accomplishment at Districts because the num-
ber two golfer, Kilstrom, was absent," said Se-
nior Kathy McCullough.
"No matter how we finished, we knew
that we had tried, so we enjoyed the season,"
