Forty-eight seniors managed to get into the
top ten percent of their class and were qualified to earn
honor cords for graduation day. Picking up theirs are

The HJJgh O'Brien Foundation pre-
sented awards to many students in the city. SophomorE
Marc Speiker is presented this award by Assistant Princi-
pal Sandy Bagley. (P. MAHONEY)
Thirty social studies awards were pre-
sented by Social Studies Teacher Amy Kieser. Receiving
one of them is Freshman Sue Jaspersen. (P. MAHONEY)
Receiving industrial arts awards are Se-
nior Ron VanOeveren, Sophomore Jason Franzen, Senior
Jim Nichols, Junior Bob Ivester, and Senior Mike Croft
from teachers George Franke and Bob Trauernicht. The .243
department presented six plaques to the school that eve-
