                The  Beginning  of

                      Yet another year and anoth-
                    er decade had come and  The  year closed one de-

                    Students were learning, grow-

                    cade was by no means the end    ... BEGINNING  OF  THE  MEMORIES  ...
                   of anything. It  signified  the ...   Memories were so easy to make. They per-
                    . . . BEGINNING  OF  SCHOOL     meated the year with the spirit  of life itself .
                   After the_ endless formalities,  in-  The  eighties were full  of memories, chang-
                   troductions, anxiety,  and ex-   ing students' lives  and preparing them for
                   citement, the year finally  got   what lay  ahead. One  year and one de-
                   rolling,  and it actually became   caae came to a close' and another found
                   hard not to fall  into the same   its  starting point. This  year was only the be-
                   old routine. Life kept things    ginning.  There  was  no time  for  looking
                   busy.  It  was  just  a  matter of
                   getting out there to find all  the   back. •
                   new things  there were to do
                   and see .
                   . . . BEGINNING  OF  A DECADE
                   As  the year progressed, finals
                   neared and school became a
                   prime  source  of insanity.  The
                   new year came, however, and
                   though it  was  accompanied
                   with a loss  for some, it was also
                   filled  with the anticipation of a
                   fresh start. Whether in  aca-
                   demics, debate, or in  the Boys
                   Varsity  Basketball's  state ap-
                   pearance, the decade began
                   a time for looking towards the
                   future .
                   . . . BEGINNING  OF  A FRIENDSHIP
                   Spring fever and Senioritis  crept
                   into the fibers  of the school as
                   the end of May neared. It  was
                   nearly impossible  to escape it,
                   and it  definitely was  a  signal.
                   School  was  almost over. Final
                   graduation preparations were
                   being  made, and summer jobs
                   were being snatched  up. Tying
                   up loose ends and making
                   plans for the carefree days
                   ahead was  the main order of
                   business.  Friends  became es-
                   pecially important  as  some re-
