As the year progressed, finals

Varsity Basketball's state ap-
pearance, the decade began
a time for looking towards the
future .

Spring fever and Senioritis crept
into the fibers of the school as
the end of May neared. It was
nearly impossible to escape it,
and it definitely was a signal.
School was almost over. Final
graduation preparations were
being made, and summer jobs
were being snatched up. Tying
up loose ends and making
plans for the carefree days
ahead was the main order of
business. Friends became es-
pecially important as some re-
