-Jennifer Dewey-
Being away from parents for more
than a year might sound great, but try being
in another country.

Germany, said that in Germany there are 10 I
to 14 subjects, School gets out at 1: 15 in the
afternoon , and they go to school on Saturday.
"School is harder than it is here and I never
had multiple choice tests before."
Some of the students felt that it was a
good experience to view another life by
being right there.
PauJo Koelle, from Brazil , said that
he wanted to be an exchange student because
he wanted to enjoy his youth and have
stories to tell . _
There were also students from
Spain, Norway, and Sweden. Eva Borris,
from Spain, said that she was surprised at
how much make-up the girls wore here. She
also said that people go out more here.
Rolf Oye, from Norway, and Anna
Sundin, from Sweden, were also surprised
by things that they saw when they arrived.
Oye was surprised at how serious the sports
are played here.
All five students stayed for the entire
school year.
