In all the years
of my life, I have expe-
rienced nothing quite as
memorable as the
weekend I spent rock
climbing with my sister,
Jen. Throughout the
several weeks of train-
ing, my anticipation and
anxiety grew.
When the cold,
October weekend fi-
nally arrived, I was too
excited to be afraid.
After the initial step,
there was no stopping
me. I gradually felt my
way to the top, to a
sense of an unbeliev-
able pride . . I remember
that the view from the
top was beautiful, but
the feeling inside me
was unforgettable.
