CLUBS L END HELPING HAND
NHS, the DARE role models, the
Student. Council, the Drug Free Youth
Team, and VIA served the community in a
variety of ways. Their members devoted
both time and energy to making life a little
better for those less fortunate.
"By participating in Brush Up Ne-
braska, I had the opportunity to help a lady
in need. It was a good feeling," NHS
senior Natalie Yoo said.
The satisfaction received from
serving their community was a common
thread among the members of these
. organizations.
"This year we donated $3000 to
Make A Wish Foundation to help a young
girl with cancer go on a shopping spree. It
was neat to see her face when we told her
