W herever anyone was after school ,
he or she could hear the loud and
powerful spirits of cheerleaders.
"This year was challenging because we
had to bal~}~e out the Jophom~ctlnd JV

The girls on the JV and fresh~J
cheerleadifJ.9 squads placed second at
Metros at t::lkhorn High School.
Both squads had a lot of fun being to-
gether.
"Cheerleading was a good way to
make friends," freshman Megan Carmean
said.
Cheerleading also gave the girls a lot
of memories .
"My best memory was cheerleading
camp because it was a lot of fun, and we
bonded a lot," sophomore Gina Urich said.

Carrie Wattenhofer, Jenny Greene, and Allie
Whitehill In the past, freshmen had placed in
the top three places at Metros This made them
feel pressured to do well
